Alina d’Alva Duchrow was born in Fortaleza-CE - Brazil, currently lives and works in Rabat, Morocco. Architect and visual artist, she did postgraduate studies in Visual Arts at the Alanus Hochschule University, Bonn, Germany (2010) and graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of São Paulo - EESC USP (1996). She is currently a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at UNB (University of Brasilia) and a researcher in the Modus Operandi AND. As an artist she has used video, photography, drawing and installations in public and private spaces. Most of the time, her work focuses on a local context, a starting point that will generate tools and insights on how to deal with time, space and the other. She is part of BrasÃlia AND Lab Cluster.
