Henrique Antão é artista, engenheiro, educador e investigador do movimento, do som e do corpo. O processo fisiológico do movimento embrionário e dos primeiros anos de vida surge na sua investigação enquanto ponto de encontro e de partida para questionamentos transversais à ecologia humana, movidos pela possibilidade de uma boa convivência. Da pesquisa experiencial em práticas de escuta sensorial em movimento, procura pensar contextos educativos que re-centrem a sensibilidade, o jogo e a criação artística enquanto forças motrizes de um bem-estar em transformação, apoiado numa ética reparativa das relações. Mestre em Engenharia Electrónica e Telecomunicações pela Universidade de Aveiro em parceria com a Technische Universität Hamburg (2014), prossegue a sua formação académica com frequências em estudos de som e imagem no mestrado Sound/Vision na Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (2017), estudos curatoriais e pensamento crítico com Prof. Dr. Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung no mestrado Spatial Strategies na Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin (2022) e completa recentemente uma formação profissional em Pedadogia Somática para a Infância e Adolescência, no programa C.A.R.E. pela Somatische Akademie Berlin (2023). Enquanto artista do som, teve a oportunidade de criar espaços sónicos para a conferência The Live Legacy Project: Correspondences between German Contemporary Dance and the Judson Dance Theater Movement (Düsseldorf 2014), DanceKiosk-Hamburg (2016), Ponderosa Unfestival (Brandenburg 2020), SAVVY Contemporary (Berlim 2020). Vive na Alemanha entre 2011 e 2023, onde tem a oportunidade de contactar e ressoar com o trabalho de professores, pensadores e artistas do movimento destacando Tex Hobijn, Pauline de Groot, Angela Guerreiro, Bernardo Chatillon, Eva Karczag, Ka Rustler, Adalisa Menghini, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Trude Cone, Peter Pleyer, Sigal Zouk, Joy Mariama Smith e Mark Tompkins. Recém-volvido a Portugal, reside actualmente em Lisboa. Integra a equipa do AND Lab a partir de março de 2024, após alguns anos a seguir o trabalho em oficinas e retiros da Escola do Reparar.

Henrique Antão is an artist, engineer, educator and researcher of movement, sound and the body. The physiological process of the embryonic movement and the first years of life emerges in his research as a meeting point and departure for cross-cutting questions about human ecology, driven by the possibility of a better coexistence. From the experiential research in sensory listening practices in movement, he seeks to think about educational contexts that re-center sensitivity, play, and artistic creation as driving forces for a well-being in transformation, supported by a reparative ethics of relationships. With a master's degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications from the University of Aveiro in partnership with the Technische Universität Hamburg (2014), he continues his academic training attending Sound and Image Studies in the Sound/Vision master's program at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (2017), Curatorial Studies and Critical Thinking with Prof. Dr. Bonaventure Soh. Dr. Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung in the Spatial Strategies master's program at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin (2022) and recently completed professional training in Somatic Pedagogy for Children and Adolescents in the C.A.R.E. program at the Somatische Akademie Berlin (2023). As a sound artist, he had the opportunity to create sonic spaces for the conference The Live Legacy Project: Correspondences between German Contemporary Dance and the Judson Dance Theater Movement (Düsseldorf 2014), DanceKiosk-Hamburg (2016), Ponderosa Unfestival (Brandenburg 2020), SAVVY Contemporary (Berlin 2020). Has lived in Germany between 2011 and 2023, where he had the opportunity to contact and resonate with the work of teachers, thinkers and movement artists, including Tex Hobijn, Pauline de Groot, Angela Guerreiro, Bernardo Chatillon, Eva Karczag, Ka Rustler, Adalisa Menghini, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Trude Cone, Peter Pleyer, Sigal Zouk, Joy Mariama Smith and Mark Tompkins. Recently returned to Portugal, he currently lives in Lisbon.
