ENCONTROS PARA JOGAR O MODO OPERATIVO AND

The MO_AND Play Sessions are in-person sessions, facilitated by Fernanda Eugenio and/or Mariana Pimentel. They are open to all, free of charge and require no prior registration, offering an opportunity to practise the Modus Operandi AND (MO_AND) in a playful format. They provide a regular space for shared attention, where participants experiment, as a group, with a way of building relationships and reciprocity through simple propositions, sustaining a space for listening, adjustment and taking a stance, without predefined rules, allowing the encounter itself to reveal adjustments and possibilities.

These meetings take place once a month, in the months when there is no hANDling module at the School of Reparar, ensuring that there is a regular opportunity to engage with the MO_AND game throughout the year. They form part of the Fazer Comum programme. The sessions will run until the start of the School of Reparar with the hANDling module (10 May 2026) and will resume after the end of the School, from October onwards.

__________

The Modus Operandi AND (MO_AND) is a methodology for the ethical-aesthetic, somatic-political and experiential investigation of relationship and reciprocity, based on a radical commitment to repairing (the) Irreparable, created by anthropologist and artist Fernanda Eugenio.

Mobilising a constellation of conceptual tools and playful propositions, MO_AND facilitates direct, experiential investigation into the mechanisms of living-together—that is, of composition practised as an ethics of positional-withness—through the exercise of Re-parar: to stop and start anew, to take stock of and invent the possible each time, and to effect repair through the durational curatorial care of relationships. By practising an embodied consciousness and ways of doing based on the circumscription of the common and the performativity of affect—which place thinking, feeling and doing on the same plane—MO_AND paves the way for the emergence of collaborative landscapes and territories of sufficiency, based on the co(m)passionate exercise of presence and the reconnection with the sensory experience of inseparability.

MO_AND offers concrete tools to enhance processes of collaboration, co-learning and the negotiation of coexistence. In particular, it enables the recognition of behavioural patterns and relational tendencies, contributing to the refinement of emotional self-regulation and to the cultivation of distributed and sustained attention, as well as an embodied and consistent stance.
