Residência de Criação | Partilha Aberta: Baralho Amparo & Encanto

Creative residency with Fernanda Eugenio and Coletivo AND, integrated into [under]stANDing, a research-creation line of Escola do Reparar 2026 Ed#7, taking place at Espaço Alkantara in Lisbon, culminating in an open sharing session.

AND Lab's next publication-artifact, Baralho Amparo & Encanto (Amparo & Enchantment Deck), aims to gather, investigate, and systematize the ritual practices emerging from the application of the AND Operating Mode and its conceptual tools.

Part of an ongoing creation process that will extend over time, the Amparo & Encanto Deck thus functions as a complement to the AND Book-Box .

Emphasizing that it is on the soma plane that the activation of the tools occurs—a concept of embodied mode —the Ritual practices adopt psychosomatics as a methodology – inspired by Alejandro Jodorowsky's concept of psychomagic. The soma, understood in a broad sense as something that does not end at the edges of the skin or is reduced to the physical body, is assumed to be a field of inseparability in which it is possible to repair the irreparable at the personal, transpersonal, and infrapersonal levels – traversing from the microscopic to the cosmic universe, passing through the human.

From the creation process of the Artefacto Baralho Amparo & Encanto (Amparo & Encanto Deck Artifact), intermediate objects of various kinds emerge: from video-performance, performance-installation and performance-presentation, which will be integrated into the final Artifact while simultaneously taking shape and constituting themselves independently throughout the process.

The proposed experiences – which are ritualistic performances – allow the process of understanding and incorporating the conceptual tools to occur within the sensational plane, that is, on the plane of sensations, giving access to the sensitive experience of inseparability.

Throughout the residency, we will focus on five pairs of embodied experiences, which will therefore be "encapsulated" in five psychosomatic actions: Dis-solution and Re-mediation / Dis-cernition and Re-membering / Dis-illusion and Restoration / Dis-cision and Restitution / ( Dis)Integration and Recalling , and which will be offered to the public in an open sharing session at the end of the residency, on March 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
