The AND Kids sessions form part of the De Perto em Perto (Near and Nearer) programme, a research strand of AND Lab dedicated to fostering dialogue with the Modus Operandi AND (MO_AND), exploring ways of engagement, hospitality and interaction with different contexts and groups.
Within this framework, research with children and their carers is one of the programme’s ongoing initiatives, in partnership with the AND Lab Brazil Network and under the guidance of Naiá Delion and Jaqueline Silva.
Aimed at those who care for babies and children, these sessions offer a space for meeting and experimentation using the tools of MO_AND.
Rather than applying a fixed format, the work unfolds as situated practice, attentive to the specificities of care relationships, the dynamics between childhood and support, and the possibilities for adapting the AND Lab tools to other modes of presence, listening, interaction and being-with.
In the 2025/2026 cycle, De Perto em Perto continues this research through three AND Kids sessions.
The sessions will take place online on 9, 16 and 23 April 2026, between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm in Portugal and 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm in Brazil.
Participation is free, but prior registration is required.
