The hANDling interface line focuses on the (trans)formative and sharing dimension of MO_AND as a tool for mediation and composition. It offers intensive and extensive workshops on the transmission and practice of the constellation of games and concept tools of the Modus Operandi AND. The name hANDling invokes the semantic field of the verb 'to handle' to signal a double commitment: on the one hand, to the ethics of handling, as opposed to manipulation, which guides the Modus Operandi AND; on the other, to the delivery/offering of our tools, creating situations of transmission-sharing that favour their incorporation through frequent use, practice and the cultivation of the autonomy and uniqueness of each practitioner.
From 10 May to 7 July, hANDling is organising a series of three intensive Sunday workshops, led by Fernanda Eugenio, creator of MO_AND and director of AND Lab, interspersed with three extensive weekly practice workshops on Tuesdays, accompanied by Mariana Pimentel, assistant director of AND Lab, coordinator of Rede AND Brasil and member of the AND Collective. This course introduces and explores the ethical principles, conceptual tools and constellation of games of MO_AND are introduced and explored, distributed across the Zone of Interference (focusing on the relational dynamics of society, community and intimacy), Zone of Transference (focusing on the formulation and embodiment of affection) and Zone of Care-Curation (focusing on the body-soma as a territory of Reparar).
