Dance, Somatic Movement, Authentic Expression In Corpo de Agora we deepen the relationship with the body and its authentic expression, embodying physical and intuitive intelligence. Through the foundations of contemporary dance, improvisation practices, contact improvisation and other somatic practices, we ground and expand the possibility of new ways of being and moving. A path towards freedom and connection — within oneself, with space, and with others. In this space we open ourselves to play, depth, authenticity and curiosity; a safe place to weave matter and spirit in a dance of authentic force. Listening from the inside out, expanding awareness beyond movement. Within the collective body we find resonance and reflection, embracing the sacredness of both chaos and harmony. __________ Weekly, on Wednesdays, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Single class €12 | Monthly fee €40 Single sessions are paid in advance by bank transfer. The monthly fee is valid for one calendar month; missed sessions do not carry over to the following month; payment is due by the 5th of each month. To book a single session, schedule the day/time and choose the "Single Class" option. No prior experience in movement arts is necessary to participate. Open to all bodies, shapes, and experiences. The session door closes 10 minutes after it begins. Those arriving after this time will not be allowed to enter, to ensure the fluidity, commitment, and care of the group process. Bring comfortable clothing for movement and a water bottle. __________ With Carlota Fairfield Oliveira | Artist, Dancer and Educator Carlota is a creator, performer and facilitator working within contemporary dance, contact improvisation and the performing arts. Her work explores the Body as a relational territory in constant transformation, crossing artistic creation with social contexts. She studied at Chapitô Circus School, AMTAD (England) and the Olga Roriz Company/FOR. She's been developing projects with diverse communities and, in 2019, founded the Corpo de Agora practices. Cancellations with full refund are accepted: > For regular classes: up to 48 hours before the confirmed date of the first booking; > For workshops: up to 15 days before the confirmed date of the first booking; With less notice than that stated above: > For regular classes: there is no right to refund the amount paid; > For workshops: it is possible to refund between 50% and 25% of the amount paid, depending on the date of the notice.
