PRESENTATION

School of Reparar Ed#7-2026
Continued Axis | 10 May to 1 August 2025 (starting on 16 March for resident artists)
Re-flexo & Re-clame: the recall of mystery

The continued focus of School of Reparar ed#7 2026 proposes a condensed programme, lasting a total of 3 or 5 months, which allows participants to build an intimate relationship with the Modus Operandi AND, offering a complete (trans)formative process that covers its entire constellation of games and concept-tools, combined with an in-depth experience of the ritual dimension of the practice. It also incorporates the possibility of participating as a resident artist in the school’s research-creation plan, taking part in AND's ongoing creation.

Below, we present details about the schedule, modules, and registration process (or application, in the case of resident artists), which begins on the comparison page for choosing between Complete, Partial, and Resident Artist participation options. Further on, you will find the Manifesto Theme-Question, which also explains the new Re-Flexo and Re-Clame co-operations and the new Recall tool concept.

THEME-QUESTION

Re-flexo & Re-clame: the recall of mystery

A little about the new Re-Flection and Re-Claim co-operations and the new concept-tool of Recalling

The School of Reparar 2026 invites you on another experiential, collaborative, and embodied research journey around the intimate-collective processes of reparation. In this 7th edition of the program, the proposal is to delve into research through the prism of the co-operations between Re-flection and Re-claim, which unfold from the states of Glimmering and Calling, respectively, and give shape to the new concept-tool of Recalling.

We wish to research ways of sensitively reconnecting with the complex and intricate web of inseparability through which we co-participate and are co-participated, reciprocally, in/by all that exists, in the confidence that a body of political implication in the reparation of the systemic Irreparable can (re)find forces of sustenance and proliferation there. Recognizing that it is at the level of the body-soma that the Irreparable lodges, and that it is from there that it makes each one a vector of its perpetuation, we insist on investigating the key question that drives the Modus Operandi AND - how to kill/discontinue the system in us without dying? - as a commitment to the endless work of reorienting our ways of existing, relating, and inhabiting, towards respect and honor for Life.

In connection with the element of water and aqueous forms of life, this 7th edition proposes to unfold new practices of play and ritual to tune in to the wisdoms of dis-solution, trans-form-action, and conduction/channeling—thus persevering in the search for possible consistent disinvestments in the hegemonic logics of solution, fixation, and ordering. With the support of a secured field, which manages care and risk in metastability, the collective process aims to provide the conditions for (re)constituting, in each participating person, a body with sufficient capacity to experiment with (self-)repair. Frequent practice promotes attunement to the ethics of Reparar, simultaneously as distributed attention, handling of the possible, and relational (re)curation service, inviting us to witness - in the cosmos of each one and between many - the Irreparable patterns and schemes that may be reiterating the sterile illusion of separation, and to research, in situ, ways to regenerate the sensoperception of inseparability and the embodied awareness that we are an impure mixture, rediscovering ourselves as the medium and conduit of the vital flow. With water, which is both source and course, we call for the unlearning of the objectification as a resource of materials, beings, relationships, and situations that make us up and compose us.

Following recent work on the restorative states of Glimmerings and Callings, we have been investigating ways to restore the sensitive access to the multidimensionality of the All-Whole and remedying trans-specific channels of speech, listening, co(n)sentiment, and somatic (dis)integration. Throughout 2026, we propose to deepen our research into these states, focusing this time on scrutinizing their operations and co-operations, and dwelling on them long enough to rehabilitate their broad spectrum of manifestations.

In their shortened and narrowed versions by the ingrained workings of the Irreparable, Re-Flection and Re-Claim are deactivated as embodied wisdoms, restricting themselves to mere reflex - a loop of reactivity - and mere complaint, a projective and irresponsible grievance. Restored to their full range, they may perhaps reopen as technologies of attunement and field establishment. Thus, we trust that paying attention to these co-operations will restore Re-Flection's hypnotic and co(m)passionate quality and Re-Claim's telepathic and manifesting quality. In a durational journey of research-creation and experiential attendance, we invite you to experience re-flection as the wisdom of curve and spiraling — the possibility of folding back on oneself, reaccessing the “view of point” that the point of view tends to suppress — and re-claim as the wisdom of listening to calls and vocalizing flames — the possibility of rekindling inner guidance and reconnecting with the polyphonic voice of multidimensional integrity.

In Re-Flection, it is a matter of refining with the wise sufficiency of involuntary organic functions, which have never lost their connection with the source of the Common Fund of Life and continue to propagate it through direct mirroring. It is also about retuning to its resonant function, which allows somatic coupling and co(n)sensing between beings: a reflexive-empathic mode that, with each encounter, recognizes others in me and me in others, reviving the affective bond of the common. In Re-Claim, the work involves recalibrating the management of one's own thoughts and their expression in words with responsibility and rigor, reclaiming the internal cry by rekindling the multiplicity of the self, relearning to navigate with parsimony and fairness the gradation between asking and demanding. It is about listening again to the vital calls, our own and those of others, of need, will, desire, limit, purpose, discerning them from their current capture by capital, which converts them into appeals for consumption, ready-made discourses and slogans, which never cease to reiterate the illusion of separation and the logic of lack and, in their uninterrupted clamor, they either suffocate or anesthetize the sensitive individual and collective channels through which the enchanted and abundant pulse of the common and of intra-, inter-, and trans-specific communication could be flowing.

Re-Flection and Re-Claim converge in Recalling, a modulation of the reparative gesture that acts in the radical rescue of a relationship of reverence for Mystery, the unknown-unknowable (im)permanent that separates us. To recall, an archaic verbal form, is the act of making something shine, sparkle, amaze, astonish, enchant. It is also the act of recovering lost links of memory or information, bringing them back into the present and into presence. As a conceptual tool, it is also and ultimately activated in what the obvious meaning of the word suggests: as a gesture of renaming and reinvoking, which allows us to reformulate what has been said (and done) unjustly—or, as we have practiced with MO_AND, allows us to re-enchant the curse, contributing to the remission of the Irreparable of the World-as-It-Is and opening the way, little by little, so that we can approach the World-as-It-And.
