Tornando acessível aquilo que normalmente está nos bastidores como os meandros da pesquisa artística, a dimensão de montagem e desmontagem de uma exposição, a presença constante dos corpos, agentes humanes e não-humanes que compõem e produzem esse enquadramento espácio-temporal, as exposições-ocupações se propuseram enquanto exploração das modulações do encontro em situação.
Agregando um conjunto variado de contribuições, a proposta tinha sobretudo a intenção de permitir uma progressiva habitação do espaço, com restos, rastros e traços dos processos que ali iam sendo vividos, das investigações-criações in situ e das insuspeitas possibilidades de reunião que um ambiente mobilizado, ao mesmo tempo, pela presença constante e pelas portas abertas pode oferecer - eventualmente vindo a se proliferar no entorno geográfico e social envolvente aos espaços de acolhimento.
A iniciativa aconteceu em 2019, em duas edições (a primeira em abril, no Mira Artes Performativas, Porto; e a segunda em dezembro, no RuadasGaivotas6, Lisboa). Ambas se deram no âmbito do projeto anual "Do Irreparável: o que pode uma ética de reparação?", com o apoio da República Portuguesa - Direção Geral das Artes.
Enquanto jornada encarnada que abraçava as dimensões afetivas, singulares e coletivas, mobilizadas ante a (ir)reparabilidade do mundo, o projeto convidou ao plano das exposições-ocupações um conjunto diverso de (contra)dispositivos relacionais, tais como jogos-conversa, pesquisa-criação aberta, oficinas e performances situadas, tudo com a curadoria de Fernanda Eugenio e Ana Dinger.
No âmbito das exposições-ocupação, além de muita prática do MO_AND e da continuada pesquisa in situ do Irreparável, emergiram as vídeo-instalações O que fazem as mãos enquanto fazemos com elas + Gestos (ir)reparáveis (de Andrea Capella em colaboração com Fernanda Eugenio); uma estrutura móvel para o Jogo AND e transporte/exposição do acervo de tralhas (pelo Coletivo Gato Morto); a criação do Metálogo #6, entre o passado e o futuro (por Ana Dinger); a criação de Cidades de Vapor, edição #Saigão (por Fernanda Eugenio e Gustavo Ciríaco) e a criação de uma série de performances-para-a-câmera das Práticas de Des-imunização (por Fernanda Eugenio e Dani d'Emilia). Uma estação com objetos-síntese da pesquisa do/com o MO_AND foi sendo gestada - e proliferada - de uma exposição para outra, além da Caixa-Livro AND, que teve o seu primeiro lançamento público em Portugal neste contexto.

Turning accessible that which is usually behind the scenes, such as the intricacies of artistic research, the dimension of assembling and disassembling an exhibition, the constant presence of bodies, human and non-human agents that compose and produce this space-time frame, the exhibitions-occupations were proposed as an exploration of the modulations of the encounter in situation.
Bringing together a varied set of contributions, the proposal had mainly the intent to allow a progressive inhabiting of the space, with remains, trails and traces of the processes that were experienced in it, such as the in situ research-creations and the unsuspected possibilities of what an environment can offer - an environment motivated at the same time by the continuous presence and by its open doors - eventually coming to proliferate in the geographic and social surroundings adjacent to the hosting spaces.
The initiative took place in 2019, in two editions: the first one in April, at Mira Artes Performativas, Porto; and the second one, in December, at RuadasGaivotas6, Lisbon. Both took place in the scope of the annual project "Of the Irreparable: what an ethics of reparation can do?", with the support of República Portuguesa - Cultura / Direção Geral das Artes.
As an incarnated journey that embraced affective, singular and collective dimensions triggered by the (ir)reparability of the world, the project invited to the plane of the exhibition-occupations a diverse set of relational (counter)devices, such as games-talks, open research-creation, workshops and situated performances, all curated by Fernanda Eugenio and Ana Dinger.
In the scope of the occupation-exhibitions, in addition to much practice of MO_AND and the continuous in situ research of Irreparable, there emerged the video-installations "What hands do whilst we do with them" + "(Ir)reparable Gestures" (by Andrea Capella in collaboration with Fernanda Eugenio); a mobile structure for the AND Game and for the transportation/exhibition of the junk collection (by Gato Morto Collective); the creation of Metálogo #6, between past and future (by Ana Dinger); the creation of Steaming Cities, edition #Saigon (by Fernanda Eugenio and Gustavo Ciríaco) and the creation of the Dis-immunisation Practices series of performances-for-the-camera (by Fernanda Eugenio and Dani d'Emilia). A station with synthesis-objects of the research of/with MO_AND was being developed - and proliferated - from one exhibition to another, as well as the AND Box-Book, which had its first official release in Portugal in this context.
