Oficina de expressão corporal e auto(des)conhecimento
Movimentaria is a project that combines dance and other body expressions as a way of getting closer to one's own body, emotions, feelings and psychology through movement.
The workshops offer a space to invent, get to know and not know oneself: one's limits, desires, needs, other possibilities of listening and dialoguing with oneself and of inhabiting this body-space. Thus, we start from the body as a territory where memories, emotions and life stories live, but also where impositions, norms, standards, fears and rigidities are inscribed. In this sense,
the workshop invites the movement of getting closer to one's own body and the ways of moving in this place, in what one feels and in what one is - bringing together dance, speech and scribbling in a safe and creative space so that each person can find, create and get closer to their own ways of expressing themselves. Movimentaria does not focus on techniques or the need for prior experience with dance (the "knowing how to dance"), the proposal is about
getting to know yourself and expressing yourself based on what you already know and already telling the body and everything it can invent from deepening itself.
